  3. I spent last couple days on research and experiments on this cool stuff. Now I more or less understand the basic of it. Just wondering what’s are the plans for future? Are your goal is build it just based on DXL (and transforming to JSON) or maybe something else?
The reason why I’m asking is just simple – isn’t a risky idea?
For example meny generator works fine (for early Beta 1 release) if we have just simple form. But if there is included subforms with they own menu and actions in the DXL file is no sign about it. Just simple reference . In practice we even can have one more subform (again with menu) and include it in the first one. In this case we even don’t have a reference in DXL file about the second subform. Yes I know it’s a bit tricky but still possible.

  4. For now we are sorta stuck with DXL, we want to maintain support for ND 6.x and up. We do have members of our team on IBM’s developer partner program though and are keeping an eye out for how we can better integrate with the new built-in Ajax functions that IBM is doing with Dojo.

As for subforms we are definitely aware of this issue and luckily have a couple of guys (Nathan Freeman & Tim Tripcony) who have a project called Decepticon which will solve that issue as well as cache transformed DXL which should result in a bit of a performance boost.

  6. The link in the release thread doesn’t work – is there somewhere else to download?

  7. Looks like the Ext Site update today broke the download link. I’ll check into it and get it back up.
