Ext, Javascript, Notes/Domino, Ext.nd, Ruby on Rails

Hot off the press is the announcement of Google’s latest addition to their online document offering, presentations. Creating and editing presentations is very straight forward, the app functions just as you would expect if you’re used to Powerpoint. Uploading an existing .ppt worked seamlessly for me though I’m sure there’s quite a bit of functionality that is not yet supported. Overall I think it looks great, I think I’ll be using it to write and update my presentations as it manages versioning for you. Also it means I no longer have to worry about copying everything back and fourth from my thumbdrive.

I know there’s quite a few people waiting on my demo databases from the Ext.nd presentation, I promise I’ll get them up soon. For now I’ve uploaded the very small powerpoint that I used for the first few minutes of my Condug presentation. (Most of the time was spent on the live demo, actually implementing Ext.nd into a simple application).
