Great turnout for Condug

Today we had an awesome turnout for Condug, It had to be somewhere around 30 people, perhaps more. The room was packed!
The presentations went quite well, the Motorola Good group gave an overview of their mobile offerings. Then the admin folks from Nationwide went pretty crazy in depth with server configuration [...]

Condug meeting… Tomorrow!

Well, I meant to post about this a while ago to at least give people some notice, but somehow it slipped by. If you’re in the Columbus area drop by tomorrow afternoon (1:30-4:30) at the IBM offices near Tuttle Mall.

Safari on Windows

Announced today is the first beta release of Safari for Windows. Grab a copy from apple’s site here. They claim it is faster than all of the other leading browsers, though I’d wait for some external testing before believing their claims .

They’ve just posted up the schedule of events, looks like I’ll be presenting mid-afternoon on the second day. They seem to be running things really late… I don’t recall going till after 8pm last year

Ext 1.1 beta 1 hot off the press

Just released this morning is the new beta version of Ext. While a full change list hasn’t been worked up yet there are numerous bug fixes and a brand new form element “HTMLEditor”.

So many of the new Ext components are fitting nicely in line with what we’ll be adding to Ext.nd. [...]
