Sorry everyone for the lack of updates for a while, I actually started a couple of draft articles and just never found the time to finish them. Once things slow down a little I’ll whip out a few tutorials on using and extending Ext.
Anyway, a few days ago I was informed that I won a free pass to the Future of Online Advertising conference coming up in New York at the beginning of June. This is put on by Carson Studios which is the well known Ryan Carson’s company. Ryan is behind sites like Dropsend and Vitamin, he ran a site a while back called “Bare Naked App” that basically detailed out all the information surrounding the sale of Dropsend, it was pretty cool to see all the numbers about how much the site was used and how much revenue it took in.
Future of Online Advertising is a new conference offering, in the past they’ve held some largely popular conferences (Future of Online Web Apps and Future of Online Web Design). This new offering is focused on up and coming forms of online advertising including using social networks and media sites to your advantage.
Unfortunately, I wont be able to make it out there, but they’ve been kind enough to let me pass it on to a coworker which will hopefully be able to make it.
